Racing from Ireland come from Fairyhouse on Saturday.

The feature race is the BetVictor Solerina Mares Novice Hurdle off at 1:35. Honeysuckle has been impressive on her two starts over hurdles to date. The only concern being she has only had the two runs, this makes her the least experienced in the field. I like Robin De Carlow. She was reported to have not handled the soft ground at Cork last time out. She bet Awayinthewest at Limerick by 2 lengths. Awayinthewest now receives 7 lbs off her. This move in the weights will bring them closer but I think Robin De Carlow will have enough to get her head infront.

Race one off at 12:00

I  think Burgas a good each-way selection in this. He has plenty of experience, he has had 8 runs over fences. Real Steel and Glenloe have the potential to be good chasers but both had jumping problems on debut. Glenloe made a bad mistake on chase debut and never threatened after that. Real Steel was in the process of running a great debut when coming down at the last when in contention at Leopardstown. I think Burgas will be hard to knock out of the frame.

Race two off at 12:30

Dakota Moirette is my idea of the winner in this. He was in the process of running a decent race at Naas when he didn’t jump the last well. If he repeats that run and can brush up on his jumping he can be competive in this wide  open handicap.

Race three off at 1:00.

Gunfire Reef is the horse I like. He has been in great form of late, in his last four starts he has not been out of the frame. Last time out at Thurles he was second. Fergiethelengend was third and takes him on again here. Double Portrait was forth and he  won at Thurles last Sunday. Hopefully he can continue his good run of from and get his head infront.

Race five is off at 2:10

I like Westport Lady . She was an impressive bumper winner on her penultimate start at Thurles. She ran a good race on debut over hurdles at Fairyhouse finishing second. If she can improve on that it will see her go close.

Race eight off at 3:55

Cher Why Not is the one for me in the finale. He has been in good form of late finishing third and second on his last two outings. He was second to Global Racing at Punchestown earlier this month when slightly unlucky in running. With a clear run and a repeat of that run will hopefully lead to a reversing of the form.
