Five selections for racing at Dundalk

By Luke (@lukekeena1)

Midweek racing in Ireland comes from Dundalk with a seven race card. My first selection comes in Race two off at 6:15, I think Sundance Star is the one to be with. The only question I have about this horse is how ready he his with this being her seasonal debut. As a two year she was ultra consistent finishing second in three of her four starts. I think a mark of 71 is fair and I think she will run a big race at 10/3.

Race four off at 7:15

Nisior Donn was last seen finishing third at Gowran Park earlier this month. Prior to that run she won over course and distance off a mark of 57. She has run at Dundalk and only been out of the first three once when finishing fifth. She now runs off 67 and I think she is capable of winning of that mark at a price of 3/1.

Race five off at 7:45

Tennesse Waltz ran a nice seasonal reappearance here at Dundalk over seven furlongs finishing second. His last winning mark was 61 and now runs off 62. The step back up to a mile will suit and I think he will go close at a price of 9/2.

Race six off at 8:15

Pearlman was last seen finishing second over course and distance last month. He has the advantage of the recent run and form over ten furlongs. This son of Nathaniel has been seen on the track twice finishing second and third, I think this will be his time to get his head infront at a price of 9/4.

Race seven off at 8;45

Dayereh finished fourth last time out not beaten far by Wild Shot and Sharjah was back in second. Sharjah re opposes Dayereh here but on different weights. On that occasion Dayereh gave Sharjah three pounds, Dayereh now receives five and I think that will be enough for her to turn the tables. I think she will get her head infront at a price of 4/1.
